Stainless steel wire mesh with its excellent resistance against acid, alkali, heat and corrosion, extensively used in processing of oil, chemical and food, making wire mesh filter, also sorting and screening of solid, liquid and gas in mine, metallurgy, airspace and machine making etc.


Varieties according to materials:
According to clients’ request , Stainless steel wire mesh may produced by materials, such as 304, 304L,316,316L, Titanium mesh, Nickle Mesh, Monel wire mesh Chrome alloy iron etc. Standard roll width: 40", 48",60",72"to 6 meters Standard roll length of stainless steel wire mesh: 30m to 100'. Special sizes can be customized. weaving types include: Plain Weave, Twilled Weave etc.

Plain weave: Each weft wire passes over one and under one warp wire, and each warp wire passes over one and under one weft wire, every weft wire have and warp wire the same diameter.Characteristics: square aperture ,high flow through , relative high open area, as result less pressure drop during filtration suitable for all kinds of filtration up to 63 µm.

Twill weave: Each weft wire passes over two and under two warp wires, and each warp wire passes over and under two weft wires. The wire diameter for both(warp and weft)is mostly the same. Characteristics: square aperture, less rigid than plain weave, especially suitable for deforming, strong wire cloth due to ratio of wire diameter and aperture, it is mostly used for filtration less than 63 μm

Mesh count is meshes per inch. S.s mesh count is decided by meshes in warp direction and weft direction. Square mesh has the same mesh count in both warp and weft direction. The more mesh counts are, the smaller the opening size is. and vice versa.
