Copper Wire Mesh

Copper Wire Mesh

Copper mesh is made of various copper wires through warp and weft woven.
JD copper mesh can be divided into red copper mesh, brass mesh, phosphor copper mesh .
Weave: plain weave, twill weave, dutch weave.

Copper Wire Mesh

Copper andits alloys have been used for thousands of years, so it is nosurprise it is a highly demanded option within the wire meshindustry. Copper wire mesh is ductile, malleable and has high thermaland electrical conductivity. As a result, it is popularly used as RFIshielding, in Faraday Cages, in roofing, in HVAC and in numerouselectrical-based applications.
Copper wiremesh is durable in many types of atmospheres. Although it is softerthan a similar stainless steel wire mesh, it is also resistant toatmospheric corrosion but attacked by oxidizing agents such as nitricacid, ferric chloride, cyanides, and ammonia acid compounds. JD copper wire mesh is woven to the industry standard, ASTM E-2016-11,is 99.9% pure copper and, when exposed to the atmosphere, willnaturally develop a thin green layer, known as patina.
Features: nonmagnetic, good ductility, wear resistance, fast heat transfer, good electrical conductivity, sound insulation, electron beamfiltration.
Application: Can be usedas the shielding screen in the cable circuits, laboratories andcomputer rooms.
Widely usedin the power sector, aerospace, information industry and military forRFI and EMI shielding.
Can be usedas the faraday cage.
Can beinstalled onto buildings to insulate noise.
Can be madeto filter discs for liquid, gas and solid filtering.

Brass Wire Mesh

Brass is analloy that is comprised of copper and zinc, and, like copper, brassis soft and malleable and is attacked by ammonia and similar salts. As a wire mesh, the most commonly available brass woven wire mesh isreferred to as “270 yellow brass” and has a chemical compositionof approximately 65% copper, 35% zinc. “260 high brass”, whichconsists of 70% copper and 30% zinc is also a popular in the meshindustry, particularly on custom manufactured items.
The presenceof zinc in brass woven wire mesh is important because it providesadded abrasion resistance and allows for higher tensile strengths; italso hardens the mesh, compared to its softer copper woven wire meshcounterpart. For these reasons, brass wire mesh is commonly used infiltration and separation applications, and it is used to fabricatediscs, especially in instances when electrical conductivity is notcritical.
Features: nonmagnetic, wear resistance, good ductility, good tension stress, bright color, smooth surface.
Application: Screening all kinds of particles, powder, porcelain clay and glass, chinaware printing, filtering liquid and gas. For newsprint paper, printing paper, use 60-70 mesh brass wire mesh, For typing paper, use90-100 mesh brass mesh.

Bronze Wire Mesh

Bronze is analloy that consists primarily of copper, and thus, it exhibits manyof the same characteristics of copper, like malleability, durabilityand ductility. In the wire mesh industry, commercial bronze wire meshis the alloy commonly available from stock or through custommanufacturing. Typically, commercial bronze wire mesh has a materialchemical composition of: 90% Copper, 10% Zinc.
Bronze wovenwire mesh is superior to brass wire mesh in resistance to atmosphericcorrosion, which is a major reason why bronze mesh usage spans fromvarious marine and military applications to commercial andresidential insect screen. For the industrial user of wire cloth, bronze wire mesh is harder and less malleable compared to a similarcopper woven wire mesh, and as a result, it is commonly used inseparation and filtration applications.
Features: nonmagnetic, wear-resisting, acid and alkali resistant, goodductility
Application: screening of all kinds of particles, powder, porcelain clay, glass, chinaware printing, filtering liquid and gas.
