Nickel Alloy Wire Mesh

Nickel Alloy Wire Mesh

JD Hardware Wire Mesh Co.,Limited offers a wide array of wire mesh woven from special alloys. These special alloys are intended for use in specific, high performance applications and are available for purchase through special order. Below, please find a brief description of some of our most requested special alloys.

Monel 400 Wire Mesh

Monel 400 is a uniquely strong and durable material composed primarily of Copper and Nickel. As a copper-nickel alloy, Monel 400® exhibits high strength and excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of media, including sea water and in acidic and alkaline environments. Due to these characteristics, Monel wire mesh specifications are often requested by naval shipyards and companies that specialize in marine technologies.

In the wire mesh industry, Monel 400 wire is drawn to specific diameter wires and woven to certain specifications. Monel woven wire mesh is commonly used in high performance applications, aerospace, chemical and hydrocarbon processing equipment, as well as in valves, pumps, shafts, fittings and heat exchangers. With a few exceptions, non-industrial users rarely opt for Monel wire cloth due to its high cost and similar appearance to stainless steel.

Inconel Wire Mesh
Inconel wire mesh is made of alloy wire of nickel, chrome and iron, which predominantly nickel, chromium as the second element. According to the different chemical composition content, the most common Inconel wire including Inconel 600, Inconel 601, Inconel 625 so on.
Inconel woven wire mesh is a special type of metal mesh can adapt to extreme environments but resistant to corrosion, oxidation. Further more Inconel wire mesh is non-magnetic, it can maintain a high strength and good weld ability in a temperature range from below zero to 2000°F (1093°C). Its most typical usage including chemical fiber, petrochemical, areospace, hydropower, nuclear power, thermal treatment, pulp and paper industry.
